The One Sentence Update

Alright, I know what you're thinking that this is really stupid, but I thought it'd be at least entertaining and informative so here is the one sentence update that includes the vacation to Florida I took with my family which by the way was amazing because the weather was absolutely gorgeous being in the mid 70s most of the time which made it perfect to be able to enjoy a vacation that included Troy, Dad and I playing beach golf which consists of those wood paddles and rubber balls going toward a hole in the sand with a stick in it and it's scored like regular golf which is fun and we also ate quite a bit but there was nothing really too eventful the whole time even though we did stop at the Super Bowl in Tampa on Friday which was f'in amazing and that Troy and I flew down there and met the parents who were already there for a week (by the way, we were on Sanibel Island) so they already knew it was pretty nice, but I have to say I couldn't wait to get back to Katie because I missed her soooo much and I was having withdrawl which, by the way our one year is on Thursday, so it's a pretty cool milestone for the both of us, which makes us happy, and that reminds me, how bout them Steelers, I mean, that game last night was absolutely amazing since Ben had such a great game and a Buckeye alum got the MVP which I think Ben should have got, but there's nothing I can do but enjoy the Super Bowl victory and to buy the Sports Illustrated package they always offer 10 seconds after the game which is absurd but awesome but I really think the Steelers won because I graced Ben with my luck when I visited him back in September but you never know at least it's cool to say that anyway, but work has been busy today having to catch up with everything considering I have my first school job I have to run here soon in Sidney called Fairlawn, which I am excited for, and speaking of running, Troy and I have been going to the YMCA to work out and play basketball and whatnot to get back in shape and lose weight which is quite a task, but I'm much overdue for and ready to accomplish since we're doing a "biggest loser" here in the office which is competitive, but I think I should get back to work and put a period somewhere here because I'm sure those of you reading this are getting confused and are probably angry so here you go.

Major Update: Overdue

So, I've kinda lost a grasp of this blog, so I sincerely apologize to those of you who keep a watchful eye on this. I'll do the best I can to bring this unit up to speed of the happens for the last 3 months or so.
Football is over, and it sucks. I miss Buckeye football already. Katie got me Penn State tickets for my birthday, which was amazing! We went to the night game in October to watch Terrelle Pryor fumble the ball in the 4th quarter. It was an awesome day anyway, with lots of excitement, and an amazing atmosphere. Definitely game of the year.
Later in the season, I happened to run across m*ch*g*n tickets. So we got to witness the Bucks destroy the fools up north in a verrrryyy cold day in Columbus. Sat up in D deck, so we definitely felt the coldness. The day after, we went the Cleveland for a Browns game. It was cool to go there for a game, but man, they're horrible. They suck so bad. It was cold there too. Typical.
Thanksgiving has come and gone. It was weird to have it at my aunt's. We have always had it at Gma and Gdad's. The day wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be, but there was definitely someone missing....The food was good though, which was a plus.
Work has been pretty busy. I reached a pretty big milestone in sales this year, so I'm pretty excited. I just hope I have enough momentum going into the new year with the way things have been economically. We have a lot of work lined up to start out with, but I hope people keep buying. So people...buy buy buy!
We're doing a biggest loser contest at work. I'm definitely weighing a bit too much right now, so I'm doing everything I can to lose weight. We're only in week 3, but I have lost a few pounds. Kinda feels good. I should keep doing it.
Christmas, Christmas, Christmas. 6 more days! I'm kinda excited. Just like a little kid. Troy and I are having the Roby side of Christmas Eve at our house. That'll be fun. Our first family gathering at the house. Finally wrapping that unit up. Speaking of wrapping, I've got all my shopping done! Finally. I can enjoy Christmas. Yay!
I keep teasing Katie with her presents. I swear, she's already got 5 presents, and she's still begging for more. The way girls take advantage of guys...I just can't comprehend it. And it's not just presents either....ooohh snap!
Welp, I think I've updated enough for now. I'm sure it'll probably be another 3 months before I update you again...so I hope to talk to you soon! Stiffy!

Pittsburgh + Ear Infection = Crazy Birthday

So, something came up. Mom, Dad, Troy, and I went to Pittsburgh last Monday for the Monday Night Football game against Baltimore. That wasn't it. We were invited to stay at Ben Roethlisberger's house for the day. We also watched the game from box seats in the stadium. Very amazingly cool. We had a blast, and Ben and his family were amazingly nice. Such a great time.
Well, well, I ended up getting an ear infection that Wednesday. Why's that, you may ask? Perhaps it was from swimming in Ben's pool? YES. It got horrible Wednesday night, Thursday, and Friday. I had to go to Celina for band practice, and it started KILLING at night. Man, that sucked. I missed work Friday, but I had to go to the Elida/Celina game because my drummers were playing at my home, so I had to go. They did very well, but my ears weren't. I got plenty of drops and antibiotics to fix the damn thing. I'm still taking them to this day.
My birthday was Sunday. Thank you everyone for all the Birthday wishes. You're all so swell. Over the weekend, my right ear infection turned into a right & left ear infection. Two ears hurting at once. I'd never wish that upon ANYONE, EVER. The Bucks won in a sweet fashion Saturday. (I'm really jumping around here.) That was an amazing game, and Terrelle Pryor, well, you da man. My Birthday was awesome. I got some sweet gifts from everyone including a BADASS Jordan hoodie from Katie that can be worn either way, a bocce ball set from Troy which I cannot wait to play, and an ipod touch from the rents. I must have been a good boy or something.
We went out to eat Sunday at Cheddar's. It was freezing cold in there, the service was horrible, and I had to leave and go out to the truck because my ears were absolutely killing. I couldn't hear anyone talk, and it was extremely frustrating. I couldn't even finish my damn meal, which pissed me off....you know me and my food.
Speaking of food, I'm trying to watch what I eat again....I'm getting way too big.
It's 5:00, and I wanna go home, so I'm wrapping this up quick.
Birthday party at my house Saturday.

Florida Recap

Well, well, well. I haven't posted in a while again. Maybe I should leave out this part of the entry, because it seems to happen every time. In case you didn't know, I went to Florida on a much needed vacation last week...
Katie and I got to Siesta Key Saturday night and met Mom, Dad, and Troy in time to watch the Buckeyes get their asses handed by USC in the second half at a bar called "Sniki Tiki." Sunday, Katie, Troy, and I went jet skiing. It was a blast. That shit is so fun, especially when a boat goes by and you ramp the waves it makes. Yeeeaahh. There were some seriously big waves on the beach due to Hurricane Ike out in the gulf, so we went out and crashed against the waves. Man, that's fun. Unfortunately, Katie was stung by a jellyfish. Those things were everywhere from being flowed in from the storm. Everybody knows how to get rid of a jellyfish sting.....hahaha We went out to some bars that night. Ate some interesting seafood. It was a good time. Mom, Dad, and Troy had to leave Monday, so that sucked. We went to our original hotel room in Lido Beach. We were on the 5th floor with a balcony looking out at the beach. Amazing. We got some sweet shells, sand dollars, and whatnot. There are shells eevvvveerrryyywwwhhheerrree at Lido. Crazyness. We got some alcholic beverages for Monday Night Football, and stayed in the room to catch the sunset too. We did a lot of laying around and relaxing by the beach and the pool. The pool was really nice, lined by palm trees outside it with a Tiki bar. I love palm trees. Damn, I want to move there.
We did quite a bit of souvenir shopping at St. Armands Circle and on Siesta. There is so much cool stuff there. We got noodles and snorkeling stuff so we can go out in the ocean and look for shells. That was interesting. Wednesday night, we were walking the shore at night with flashlights trying to find some sweet shells. Katie was walking in the water a little bit, and walked into a little dip in the sand, and make her fall in. It was pretty funny. I lol'ed.
Thursday, we went to Mote Aquarium. Saw some cool fish, jellyfish, sharks, manatee, stingrays, dolphins, etc. They had a thing where you could pet the stingrays. They're slimey. And funny. Saw some dolphins do some neat tricks. Exciting. Then we went to this place called Captain Curt's in Siesta Key. We tried raw oysters. To be honest with you, they weren't all that bad. If you put cocktail sauce on them, anyway. We sure ate our fair share of seafood out there.
We drove home Friday and Saturday. It takes FOREVER to get through Georgia, goodness. We bought some Georgia Bulldogs clothes. Then we stayed in the nastiest hotel room ever. In the hills of Tennessee, middle of nowhere, a $24,99 hotel room at the Relax Inn. I think I woke up the Indian/Arab/Muslim owner guy when I got there. I went to bed in fear. lol
We had a blast, and I want to move there now. It's so amazing there. Ahhh, I can't wait to retire. Sorry this entry was so boring and straight to the point. I hope you deal with it. You're going to have to, buddy. Seacrest out.

Not in the mood to blog...

...but here's an update anyway. A lot as happened since the last time you've heard from me. I'll start off from as far back as I can remember.
For those of you who don't know, I'm in a golf league on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Well, this Thursday...mid July I assume...I was finishing up my round when I got a text from Katie saying that she's in some excruciating pain, and the ambulance is coming to pick her up. So I hurried over to her place, and not long after, the ambulance came and took her to the ER. Turns out, she had a pretty large ovarian cyst. She had to stay at the hospital overnight, but she got some pain meds and an appointment to get her cyst checked out.
Well, this went on and off for a while, doctor visits, testing, results, emotional rollercoasterness, and whatnot. Well, I had to go to band camp on when a surgery was scheduled to happen. Well the one doctor decided to bump it back a month, and with the pain she was in, there was no way. After some discussion with someone who had the same situation, Katie went to see another doctor. Surgery was performed a week after, and fortunately for me, I was back home to be there for her. The cyst (the size of a baby's head) was removed, and was benign! She's been recovering quite well, and feeling much better as of now. So, all is looking good for her :)
As for me, it's been the summer from hell, but things seem to be on the upswing. I'm going to the NASCAR race in m*ch*g*n Sunday, so that'll be fun. The Olympics have been a blast to watch, I've been glued to the tv as much as I can be. And FOOTBALL is starting up. I can't freaking wait. I love how quickly it has approached. Killernuts.com is getting fired up again, for those of you who are interested.
Work is busy. Golf has sucked lately. Races are fun. Ohio State is awesome. Weather is gorgeous. New shirts are exciting. Money sucks. Taco Bell stinks. and ionic fans are convenient.

Let me just say that last weekend didn't go by the plan at all. It was kind of funny in a way, but overall I'm a little bit ticked. We were at our 5th annual Kings Royal camping unit at Eldora for the weekend. Got there right before the races Friday night. Shotgunned a beer to try to catch up with the fellow folks who were already under the influence. We went racing, had a good time, had a couple beers and wings and such. Got back to the campsite and had a few more. Imagine that. After a while, we went to bed. 6 of us, in my tent. How cute. And gay.
We were fortunate enough for the sun to rise again another day on Saturday morning. You know how that goes. Waking up in a tent as soon as the sun breaks the horizon, it's instantly 90 degrees in it. Sweating balls BUT WAIT. The western sky is dark. Real dark. Turns out, a storm is barrel-rolling towards us. And not just one front, it's a deep storm. Yellow and red on the radar. Better batten down the hatches. So we did. Stayed in our tents as mother nature did her thing. Half of us in one tent, and half in the other. Screaming at each other back and forth with claps of thunder and gusts of wind while the ice man drives by yelling a big "fuck you guys" after us taunting him about wanting ice at the time while being in our tents.
After the storm barrel-rolled on through, Troy and 2 other friends went back to Lima to "freshen up." So it was me, Fultz and Cody at the campsite for about 4 hours. Went back to bed for an hour nap, just to wake up to the sun poking outside a cloud and making it 90 in the tent again. Eventually everyone returned to the campsite for some good times. Played cornhole, texas horseshoes, and hilbilly golf while getting beaned in the back with gingersnaps. And man, let me tell you, that is PAINFUL.
Around 6:30 or so, we headed to the track to play games. We did an RC racing thing which is awesome. I won the first one. Then we did the sprint car simulator. I won 2/3. (I'm a beast at racing, FYI.) Then we got close to our seats right before the racing started, and it started to rain. Again. So we walked out and got a rainpass. And it came down harder, and harder. So we walked back to the campsite. Rain harder and harder. Soaked. Barefoot walking in mud. Harder. Get back to the campsite, change, and get in tent. Windy, rain, thunder, lightning. We're all in the tent, with a beer, and chairs. Now we have to hold the tent up. Then we have to move our sleeping bags and pillows to one side because the rain is getting in. Then, everything is soaked. We started taking our drenched stuff to our trucks. My sleeping bag was dripping. Tents were inverting. We packed our stuff up and left. Leaving the tents, because we still had a few stuff in them and didn't have room for everything in our trucks. Not to mention, it was still a windy downpour. Races were cancelled anyway.
So, we were bummed that the weather ended up ruining our last night and the racing, but it was postponed to Sunday night anyway. Well, everyone was already exhausted, and didn't want to have to drive back to get dirty and tired again. So, the weekend was done, other than having to go back and get the tents. Katie and I decided to drive there to clean up, and pack up everything else that was left, BUT WAIT. The tents are gone! Everything else, gone! Just some bags of bread and paperplates were laying around that were put IN A TENT. Someone stole our tents, and supplies there were in them. I was/am pissed. That sucker was an 8 person tent, and I grew attached to that tent. :'(
So, basically that's my weekend in a nutsack(shell.) Just thought I'd let you all in on a little update.

Happy 4th of July Eve! Hope everyone has an awesome weekend in store for them like I do! I am soooo due for a 3 day weekend. I've been so incredibly busy at work, it's crazy. Jobs are going left and right, at the same time trying to bid and get paperwork done. There's just not enough time! But now with an extended weekend, I hope to slow down and relax, only to come back to the same mess later. Enough of that....

Everything has been going really well lately. Golf game is picking up. Racing season is in full swing. Things with Katie are extravagant. My new office is swell. It's summertime. My new phone is the tits. And did I mention it's a 3 day weekend?!?! America! FUCK YEAH! Classic.

OhHowImissOhiostate. Just found out I'm GOING TO THE PENN STATE GAME THIS YEAR! Night game, suckers! Happy Birthday to me from Katie! How amazing is she? *points at the pretty little lady in the corner who is blushing* I CANNOT wait for football season. To be sitting in the 'Shoe once again, watching the men of the scarlet and gray take the field and dominate their opponents. That's what fall is all about. Cmon calendar!
